2017 Sparkling White Wine
Winner of a Silver medal in the International Wine Challenge 2021, the judges tasting notes say “Good aromatic nose, orchard fruits and chalk with elegant mineral notes and citrus on the palate.”
A warm, rose gold colour to this wine with wonderful yeasty, bready notes to the aromas. A mouth filling fizz with sumptuous honeyed pear, orange blossom, honeysuckle and hazelnut too, combining with the toasty, yeasty notes from long bottle ageing. Brut in nature and yet soft acidity gives this a wonderfully rounded finish.
This subtle, yet distinctive white is made exclusively from Seyval Blanc grapes, all hand-picked from our very own private vineyards in Shropshire. We find it pairs perfectly with everything from fresh shellfish and salmon, to sweet brie and mascarpone cheese. So, here’s to long sips and even longer evenings around the dinner table.
