Winemakers Notes – A delightfully light red wine – a brick red hue with a pale, persistent mousse on top. Wonderful aromas of summer pudding, blackcurrant, strawberry, redcurrant and bread notes. Ripe summer fruits to palate, little tannins, lots of berry flavours and a soft rounded finish. Long finish with a hint of citrus. Clean. This light red sparkler has an affinity to soft cheeses – nothing overly mature, think creamy soft chevre; brie; or young crumbly Cheshire or Wensleydale. Alternatively, enjoy with a bowl of strawberries in the sunshine!
Candle Either the Hare – rosemary and thyme or the Robin – cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon.
